Poor Stanley is squished flat, but it leads to some exciting adventures! While this story has some vocabulary unfamiliar to today's children, they still enjoy it. Best used as a read-aloud with extension activities.

Wonderful story. This is the original story (the first book) - there have since been sequels.

I LOVE this book!!! I used it with for school projects for 1st and 4th graders. My students mailed out Flat Stanley and have received great responses from friends and family.

One of my daughter's fav books and characters. She carries her Stanley around w/her all the time! Fun book for the kids.

My granddaughter's class had read the book and made their own Flat Stanley and journal to visit friends and relatives so his travels could be shared. I am glad I met Flat Stanley as he had been around since I was a young girl but I had never heard of him until now. You'll enjoy meeting him too. He may even like to mailed to friends and return to you with a tale or two. He would be good for home-school writing, art and geography (if you want to mail him to someone). Stanley could be a bunch of fun...
