I gave up on Graham a long time ago but I spotted this at the library and thought it'd been a long time I'd read one of her books so thought I'd give it a try, well 'try' is what I did.
The first chapter is so stupid, I know a story has to have a start but this one was just so stupid and unbelievable that it tainted the book for me. Out of all the characters I think the FBI agent was probably the most believable and the rest were like cartoon characters in a bad story.
I'll give a book usually 100 pages and I did this one but it was just too ridiculous and boring to continue.
So Heather Graham goes back on the shelf for me.

Pretty good for a new series. First number of chapters had me worried. But she came through. Liked the Irish Pub scenes and the family interactions with law enforcements.
A young woman whose family owns an Irish pub in New York becomes involved in a diamond heist simply by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. But the thieves seem to think she knows much more than she does, and that makes her a target.
