If you're already a fan of Clan Korval and the Liaden Universe, you'll recognize Fledgling as a worthy addition to the stories. If you're new to this world, please run to the nearest bookstore. It's a fascinating universe with a deeply textured setting, fascinating characters that you would love to know, and page-turning plots.
This was originally published as an online novel [and yes, I read it then] but this is a more polished version. Some of the story strands have been more tightly woven into the central plot. Overall a great read. What can I say? I'm a fan.
