I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this unabridged audio cassette. It takes place during WW II and is about twins who find themselves on opposite sides. Both are fighter pilots.

Exciting WWII tale. Mysterious plots abound, spies lurk in the shadows, bombs drop on London and Berlin. Hitler and his upper cadre are growing less and less sane.
After I read this book, I saw that there were two preceding books concerning some of the characters, but reading those other books is definitely not necessary; the story stands on its own.
From back cover: In the early days of World War II, fate pits two brothers--both ace fighter pilots--against each other: Max Kelso with the German Luftwaffe, and Harry in Britain's RAF. Now, the machinery of war has set in motion an intrigue so devious, so filled with peril, that it will require them to question everything they hold most dear: their lives, their families, their loyalties. Against impossible odds, it is their courage alone that will decide the course of the war...

It was very interesting. Kind of hard to follow with all of the German names etc . You need to pay close attention.
