This is a great read, a well-written reflection of Howell Raines' experiences in life as reflected through fishing and his stories about fishing. I am not really a fisherman, but my childhood fishing trips with my grandparents were certainly enough for the stories to resonate. I thoroughly enjoyed the book.

Well written and a good read. Talks more than just fly fishing. Politics, the evolution of fly fishing and reflections on life.
