This book is filled with many of America's great foods, the special places, kitchens, companies that pr'oduce them. Many specialty items can be found in the book: beverages, crackers, cakes, cookies & other baked goods; candies, cheese, condiments, dessert sauces, fish, frozen items, fruits & nuts, honeys, syrups & preserves; ingredients, meats, pastas, grains & flours; pretzels, chips & popcorn; savory sauces, soups, vegetables. This great book will get your taste buds watering... Alphabetical index and state-by-state index included. Although mailing addresses & phones numbers only are listed; many of the companies can be viewed on the website for products and information. Some recipes are scattered throughout book. A 'foodie' will enjoy the book, as well as someone interested in specialty items; or someone wanting to see the places where items are made. A great book!
