This is my favorite book. I'm a trained chef and I enjoy a good story, so this book hits the spot. I like how the author doesn't put full recipes in the book as that is distracting, instead he incorporaes it into the story. He writes about Italian culture and history of food as well. What a cute story, it truly shows the power of food!

"...a classic comedy of errors full of the culinary magic and the sensual stmosphere of Italy. The result is a romantic comedy in the tradition of Cyrano de Bergerac and Roxanne that tempts readers to devour it in one sitting."

A very sensual, sexual, and fun book full of vivid descriptions of Italian food.

I both liked & disliked this book.

For me, it was a bit difficult to navigate through because of the way the author kept changing to different character's points of view.

The concept of the storyline and the characters were memorable.

It was just OK. Was looking for something a bit more intense. Easy read without a lot of meat.
