So good I don't want to swap it away. The hero and heroine are both distinctive and memorable people and the plot moves alobg with humor, intelligence and action. There's a real sense of longing on the part of the brave, resourceful Valentine for her lofty and terribly impressive Earl. And he is gorgeous, tempermental and used to being obeyed. Their scenes together are delightful.
