The interwoven love story is moving, the plot enticing, and the the whole book a fabulous read.

its truly a sexy book...its abt what happens when lust interfers with religion....do you follow morals or the need to be satisfied?..great book!!!

I know a lot of people like Spindler and that there are a large number of copies of this book circulating, but I was disappointed in it. I found it cliched, trite, and so moralistic that it was stupid.

This book was good, but I didn't think it was as suspenseful as Spindler's other "thriller" novels. This had more aspects of a romance novel with a little mystery thrown in. The characters were great though... Hope St. Germaine is downright frightening as a super-strict mother with a shocking secret.
Very good, but not her best. Kind of slow, but she really gives you a character to hate, and 2 to root for.
A fantastic story and real page turner. Can't wait to start the next Erica Spindler.

I really liked this book and would have given it 5 stars if it would have ended a little differently. I don't want to give away too much so I won't say any more, but it is still worth the read!
This book will keep you wondering right up to the end. So many possibilities....Being from Louisiana, it was a joy to read. She definately caught the atmosphere and culture, making this an absolute joy to read.
