An excellent book, with an Anglo-Indian romance, and wonderful historical details of India in the late 1700's. The food, the clothes, the culture, the music, everything blended in with the story and added interest and atmosphere. There's also a road trip, and adventure, and I loved the hero and heroine.
Allen's book, "Tarnished Among the Ton" is a sequel to this one.
