VERY EXPLICIT SEX SCENES, BUT STILL A GOOD STORY. PARTS MADE ME LAUGH AND CRY, BUT THE BOOK REVOLVES AROUND A THREESOME, AND NOT JUST AS A ONE-TIME ONLY DEAL. REGARDLESS OF YOUR PREFERENCES IN EROTIC ROMANCE, YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF UNABLE TO PUT THIS BOOK DOWN.

Beautiful and well-told.
I've read a lot of erotic fiction, and most of is sucks. This book has all the naughty bits we hope for in erotic fiction but she actually also tells a story, delves into characters, and makes you care about them.
Might be my favorite Lora Leigh book ever. I read some of the complaints about this book and I think they're silly. First of all, if you're reading this or any of the Bound Hearts series, you have to accept that the idea of m/f/m menage is sexy. If that notion gives you the creeps then by all means, go get a different book. Further, the "fear" that the men might be bi-sexual - well IMO they should be bi, but none of Leigh's stories are told that way. I guess she doesn't care to cross that line. But again, if you are going to have m/f/m sex scenes, get over your queasiness about two naked men together or don't read these books.
It is the total female fantasy, two extremely hot alpha males who love only you and are willing to share you. I thought the story was well done and made sense. From the prologue, it is explained that Mac's goal is to have the three of them love each other. If you can suspend disbelief about the notion that two alpha males can love and make-love to the same woman without jealousy, I think the story is really sweet and romantic. I thought it was one of the most romantic of all the Lora Leigh books I've read. I could have had more scenes of Jethro and Keiley falling in love but I still thought Leigh made their love convincing by the end.
I guess I am more open minded than most people but my only real quibble with this book is that I kind of wanted the two men to be open to exploring their own relationship. I thought it seemed like they should love each other, romantically, too, not just Keiley.
Sexy, romantic, steamy, passionate, sweet, well-paced, and rather unique. 4.5 stars.

Okay, this was the first Lora Leigh book I have read and this book left me feeling a little weird. It had interesting content and lots of hot, steamy love scenes, but I found the characters a little unbelievable. I just don't see how everyone is happy with the situation, and there is absolutely no jealousy or possesiveness between the two alpha males in love with the same woman. On the other hand, it is fiction and it was entertaining to read so I guess that is all that really matters. I am not sure if this one, though, is one for my keeper shelf.

I'm all for fantasy and this certainly marks high on a girl's fantasy list but the unrealistic setting made for a disappointing read altogether. The sex scenes were hot but the mind games and the all knowing characters were not. Yes I would love to have two men like the guys in the book but the author failed to get into any of the intricacies that go along with a situation like this. Seriously, the idea is great, the execution not so much.
It was not what i expected.I was very shocked at how easily Mac gave his wife to his friend Jethro(hard time feeling hot over someone named Jethro)Mac basically became a voyeur watching his friend have sex with his wife while watching & mastubating. I found him to be weak & thought maybe he was secretly bi-sexual.

I am a huge Lora Leigh fan. I have enjoyed her bounded hearts series. This is book 8. While it is a good story, it is not my favorite of them all. This story deals with a woman who is married to one man who was part of The Club. They have moved away and she has been sheltered from his "dark" side for 3 years. Once she is finally let in on his sexual secrets he brings in his chosen 3rd. The part I have trouble with is that she falls in love with both men and they all seem to be o.k. with it and live happily ever after in the end. I don't know, there just wasn't enough drama involved in this life altering decision to live as a threesome in united bliss for eternity. A good read, but just not the best of the bunch.

What I like about Lora Leigh books is they go beyond the hot scenes with kinky fantasy guys - they have plots and characters and visual settings. This one has a well done stalker plot - although I'm not sure the bad guy's hiding place is very feasible.
The romance plot starts 3 years into a marriage where the hero has been treating the heroine like a 19th century maiden - very vanilla even though that is not his usual taste. Now he's bringing along his darker tastes [without discussing any of this with her] and expects her to adjust and accept. He is manipulating her to accept Jethro [hard to take that name too seriously] into their bed with the eventual hope to make the menage permanent. [Again, he does not discuss this with her OR Jethro.] The romance plot is further complicated with small town innuendo and gossip.
Personally, I liked Jethro a whole lot better... Mac needed to be smacked on occasion.
Very useful book if you need to steam the wallpaper off the walls...

I almost didn't want to part with the book.
This is the story of a menage of two men and the woman who has to learn how to deal with the gossip the lifestyle may cause.
Loving two men causes guilt until she comes to terms with the situation and realizes how lucky they all are.

WoW!!! Not for the weak or those into the more "Vanila" love life! It pushes boundries and trust of the mind, body and soul. As for those that don't believe that this type of relationship can happen, all I can say is this story brings back some very fond memories!

I love Lora Leigh and this is the third book I tried to read from this series because I really wanted to like it. I mean, it's a series about threesomes. Who doesn't want two guys drooling all over them?
Unfortunately I have hated all three books I have read. It boils down to the characters and the dialogue. One of the reasons I loved Leigh so much is not only because of the steamy love scenes (and there are so many good ones in the book) but the funny dialogue. These books have really horrible dialogue. Problems always stems from the girl being squeamish at the idea of being serviced by two studly, alpha males. (I know. Don't ask me why. They are idiots) The males always have to push and convince the girl to do it. As a result the alpha males come off looking like jerks and the girl weak.
I guess this series just isn't for me which is so sad. I will have to try to survive by reading her Breed and military series. Yes, please cry for me.

WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILERS!!!
Having read Wicked Pleasure first, I was concerned that the menage wouldn't last. I am definitely glad thought that I gave Forbidden Pleasure a try - because it was fantastic. I am SO HAPPY that in this case, the menage is a HEA. All three plan to stay together. : )
I also like the heroine a LOT better than the one in Wicked Pleasure. In Forbidden Pleasure, the heroine isn't afraid to stand up for herself. And although she has some issues with taking a second man into her bed (which is understandable), especially since she KNOWS she could fall for him, once she knew her husband not only was ok with it but wanted her to have feelings for the other man, she embraced the possibilities - and her feelings for both men.
The only thing that I don't like about this book was the fact that over their three year marriage, instead of slowly showing his wife his dominant tendencies, and slightly darker needs, the husband tried to deny them - which almost blew up in his face.
All in all though, this one is a keeper for me!

Liked very much. Three-or-four-ways seem very interesting! (Just kidding).
This was a really good book was at first really leery because of the way it seemed to glamorize the master / sub scene but if you stick with it it has a good plot a great story and it explains a lot more about the way things work then you expect. If you just read it for enjoyment you will definitely enjoy it.
HOT HOT HOT,
This book's law enforcement agents leave me less than enthralled. The small town populace seemed to be worse-than-usual, with character development weak.
steamy romance
Couldn't really get into the book, has steamy sex scenes.

Liked the book.
I think I've outgrown Lora Leigh. She was my initiation into erotic romance, but her books just don't do it for me anymore. While I find the sex scenes hot, I found the story to be repetitious and predictable. If you've read one Lora Leigh novel, you've read them all.
