Desperate to raise money to pay her family's debt, Celia Thomason poses as a medium who helps people connect with their dead relatives. Irish Businessman Brendan O'Neal shows up on her doorstep to hire her services. He will pay her a huge sum of money to hold a fake seance that summons his late sister, Amanda Stevens. He wants Celia to convince his brother-in-law and best friend, Garrick Stevens, that his wife does not want him to grieve forever. Celia jumps at the chance to get the money; but her fake seance ends up bringing forth a real ghost.

This paranormal romance had a little bit of mystery in it. Brendan doesn't believe that the ghost he saw was his sister. Celia and Brendan clash over that fact several times. Celia comes to believe that Amanda's death was not an accident, but a murder. She is determined to find out what exactly happened to Amanda, even if Brendan refuses to believe her. My rating: 4 Stars.
