Engaging, well written, and the narration is excellent.
I listened to the unabridged audio CD version of this book ( 7 CDs, 8.5 hours).
Since it is the second in the series about the main character, Odd Thomas, it takes off where the first book, ODD THOMAS, left off. It had the same narrator, David Aaron Baker, as the first audiobook. To get full enjoyment from the series, I really think it is important to read (or listen) to each story in order - otherwise, you will know what is going to happen and it will take away some of the enjoyment. All in all, I really like the series and I will be starting the next book in the series this week.
