This book was just okay for me. The story line was interesting and the word flow was good. The characters, though, just didn't connect with me. Both of the mothers in the story just tried my patience, Anderson was fine and Noah couldn't decide if he was a 4 year old or a 13 year old. The rest of the characters were okay but none of them had an attachment. By the time I was halfway through, I just wanted it to end.

Very thought provoking. This was a slow paced page turner, quite a contradiction. The pace seemed to be a necessary component to bring forth the conflicts in dealing with the issues on both the physical tole as well as preparing the mind for acceptance of the previous life connection. I really liked the separations of the characters stories being told individually, as well as the entwining chapters of the story as events progressed. I was surprised to find out it was the authors first book hope to see more from her.
