** spoiler alert ** Taken from the back of the book. "On October 2, 2006, a gunman entered an Amish one-room schoolhouse, shooting ten girls, killing five, then finally taking his own life." This story is from the Mother of the shooter, Charles Roberts IV. Not a easy subject to read about but there was much detail on what happened in the school house so that took a little of the sting out of the story. You can feel the emotion from the family on trying to process what happen and how to move on with forgiveness and everyday living. After I finished the book I wanted to know a little more about her motivational speaking. I was saddened to learn she past away on August 19, 2017. She was truly an inspiration.
