I was a little disappointed in this book. As most readers already know, Su had a brain injury that wiped out all her memories from birth to age 22.
Parts of these were interesting, but most of it was rather boring.
However, you have to admire Su. She overcame so many obstacles to be as functional as she is. I can't imagine living thru all she has.

I Forgot to Remember: A Memoir of Amnesia by Su Meck is the chronicle of Sue's life after a traumatic brain injury at age 22. The injury left her with no memory of her life before the accident, and those memories have not returned. The medical story of Su Meck is fascinating. Her courage in rebuilding her life is inspiring. Unfortunately, I found the book difficult to read.
