This is book two of a four-part series. As a reader who cares about these characters, I was facing unbelievable tension through much of the book.
Roseanne Bittner knows how to build tension. I've never done this before; I read the 'epilogue' before I could read some really tense parts of this book. I was so frantic; I had to be assured that things would work out all right before I could read the frightening parts. How's that for a nervous reader?
I can hardly wait to start the next novel in this series.
