Excellent multi-generational story of an upper-middle class family during the Victorian period in Britain. As the family goes through various changes and deals with problems of love, adultery, desire to increase social standing, death they also face a changing world as the Victorian Era wanes and WWI enter their lives forcing them to adjust their lives accordingly.
