All of Patrick O'Brian's books are great, and this one doesn't disappoint.

Patrick O'Brian writes historically accurate, true stories. I was doubtful about reading this book, but it had been recommended by my sister, who loves historical fiction as much as I do. This is not fiction, however, and is compelling reading for those of us who are history buffs.
Each new book in this series is much better than the last, a remarkable feat by any author. Trigger warnings: Its a book about war, so there is violence.
