This is a great little story for the toddlers. It is about a cat that travels around the world and sees things and tells about them. It can be "read" to the tune of "The Wheels on the Bus go Round and Round". It has wonderful colorful illustrations also.
"Oh, he walked around the world on his four fur feet, his four fur feet, his four fur feet....and never made a sound-O." Fun illustrations have you turning the book to show this animal's travels as he pads along a river, past a railroad, out into the country where he eventually dreams peacefully about the round world. It's a simple, repetitive tale with the sort of serious whimsy that Margaret Wise Brown writes so well.
