Thank goodness this series is over! I did stick with it but I wouldn't read it again.
Everyone has heard the term 'mean girls'? well, this book is about the 'mean' kids of this town, the storyline might not be for everyone as it is about a transgender 'girl' getting killed, then it's just mostly about all the 'mean' kids involved with her when she moved to this town for a fresh start with her new identity but here's the thing---the writing style of Kessler is juvenile so maybe she wrote this book meaning it for the ages of 16+? and by that I mean the 'f' word is everywhere in this book and I don't understand why Kessler did that, most of the time it is inserted in just the wrong place and time and my question is--does she think that is appealing to write that teenagers all talk that way? if they do then they need to wash their mouth out with soap!
I'll get off my bandwagon now but for me this series just wasn't that good.
