These books are wonderful! So much knowlege that would have been lost, is saved as the people who have lived it are interviewed. Gives you a real respect for the way people worked and lived in past generations.

Lots of information and photographs of tools and techniques. Great resource for homesteaders and anyone who wants to learn self-sufficiency skills.
Be prepared to make your own judgements in some cases, since some of the "home remedies" can give you cancer (kerosene and turpentine for a sore throat? I think not!!).

Top notch info and easily understood! The Foxfire books are the best! I have 2 of them books one and two and hope to acqire more!
