This is an excellent book for urban teachers or social workers. It is quick and easy to read and provides a lot of insight on working with those who live in poverty.

Good, quick read that was very beneficial for my classroom experience. I used the information I read the following day.
This book had some interesting information on poverty. I especially found the "hidden rules" of each class that it talks about very intriguing. However, I felt like there wasn't that much content to the book, that is why I only gave it 3 stars.
Made me think about different ways that people were raised and gave me lots of insight to the why of many behaviors.
