great book easy read couldn't put it down
Western romance about a Yankee beauty who tricks Clay, a former confederate soldier, into marrying her so that she will be able to join a wagon train bound for California when she discovers that single women are not allowed on the wagon train.
She tricks him into marriage, but later learns that she would have married him anyway.
This was a very good book, it was hard to put down!
