Hailey, Becca, Ella, and Angie have been friends since first-grade. Starting when they were five-years-old, they worked as flower girl models for "Enchanted Bridal", a business run by Hailey's mother. Through the years, the girls have been promoted to model bridesmaid dresses, and are now wearing the wedding gowns. The women meet for lunch every Saturday to catch up on their lives. Ella is planning her own wedding to Dylan; but is overwhelmed when her mother tries to take over. Hailey is trying to get Logan, one of the groom models, to notice her, but it doesn't seem to be working. Becca is humiliated when her boyfriend dumps her in public. And Angie is devastated when Sean suddenly stops calling her. Will the Friday night brides get their acts together and become real brides soon?
This was a quick read with four romances in one book. I thought the stories were interesting and kept me wanting to see what would happen next. I just didn't like how many scenes with the boyfriends were cut short, only to learn what eventually happened with the recap at the girl's lunches. I would rather the author show me what happened instead of telling me. I know this book was as much about the girl's friendship as the relationships with their men, but the way the story was told could have been better. My rating: 3.5 Stars.
