This is a very interesting book. The mystery is quite absorbing.
I read this series many years ago. I am not sure why I decided to read it again, but glad I did. It is a simple 'cozy' mystery. It is the first book so it uses a lot of pages to set the scene; educate the reader about Jewish faith; and then, weave in the mystery. Hopefully, the second book will have more mystery and less background. To be continued. Recommend.
Even if one is not a murder mystery fan, this book (and the other six days of the week) are worth reading.
