Caldecott Medal winner. This book is a little bit different than the usual picture book. It's shows what happens to Rabbit as he endeavors to get a toy airplane out of a tree using some BIG friends. Some pages have no text on them, as they rely on the illustration to "tell" the story. Big beautiful pictures in bright color make this book an instant classic. This book is a "must-see" in that it is unique.
Really cute. The best pictures! Just love it and my grandson too!
This book is adorable, very cute and funny! Poor Rabbit! Rabbit means well, "but whatever he does, wherever he goes, trouble follows." In this book the illustrations tell the story rather than the words, which are few and far between, but they are great, deserving of the Caldecott medal in my opinion. My daughter and I loved this book, perfect for the little ones.
Fans of the "My Friend Rabbit" cartoons and any animal-loving kid will enjoy this book. My 3-year old loves these characters and enjoys looking at the book.
