Shy and unsure of herself, Marissa Martinez has never exactly been the center of anyone's attention. But when the "Perfect Boy," Jason Oakman, notices her at a True Love Waits youth rally, everything changes. Gorgeous, mature—and best of all, a Christian!—Jason can have any girl he wants. And it soon becomes clear that Marissa is the target of his affections.
The problem is, Jason wants to be a bit too affectionate–and with her aunt on her honeymoon, Ms. Race dealing with her own crisis, and all the Flagpole Girls being so busy, Marissa doesn't know where to turn.
