The first of 3 in a series that focus on a women's group in a church that form and become great support for the members. I felt like I knew these women well by the end of the series. The author writes a column in our newspaper and she writes well from a woman's view.

I loved the charecters in this book. You will feel like you want to spend more time with them when the book is finished. Delectable southern recipes such as "Twila's Chicken Pie" and more. The story line is easy to follow and you will be pulled in to this community with each page. This is a book not to be missed.

Started off really slow but definitely got a LOT better as I kept reading. Almost, but not quite, stopped reading before finishing it but I am glad I persevered.
