This is one of my all time favorite children's books. Itshows how a caring teacher can reach one of her more challenging students. It was a Florida Sunshine State book. I'd recommend this book to young and old alike.

My 10 year old son still hasn't discovered a love of reading, but this book was a fast and fun read. With more books like this one, he's bound to be successful!

Read this book with my daughter this year. Absolutely loved it. Every word, every chapter. What an amazing tale so cleverly wrought. I actually had to go look up "frindle' in the dictionary! RECOMMEND HIGHLY, for kids and kids at heart!

Frindle is the new word for Nicks friends. IT tells how he bacame famous for the word, and what his teacher did to help him.
This book is great for age 8-11 all the kids i know that read this book loved it including me.

My three sons, ages 12,11, and 9 thoroughly enjoyed this book. Frindle is very easy to read. It is funny and has good lessons for children about sticking with things once you get started.

I thought that Nick was being disresectful but really his teacher was just encouraging individual thought. The power of words and action! This was a fun, very quick read.
