I had never read a book by Joce Lavene and Jim Lavene, but this one was so good that I have ordered several more now! Peggy Lee, the main character, is a noted botanist and a widow of a detective; she teaches classes at Queens in Charlotte, NC, and also owns The Potting Shed, a gardener's paradise where she is trying to build a business so she can eventually stop teaching and pursue her love of plants. The book is filled with suspense and just enough humor and love to add a light touch. It also has plant information at the beginning of each chapter!! I made a great choice when I decided to read this book!!

2nd in the series, enjoyed it very much. Good mystery, plenty of twists and turns. Fun with the dog, hope he learns to behave. Light romance, great cozy. Looking forward to the next one.
I love these books, Peggy is so great when she is on the tail of a killer. She has so many things going on all the time.
