reviewed Full: Food, Jesus, and the Battle for Satisfaction on
I just wrapped up this Bible study with some friends ð. I set out to read some of my stack of unread books during quarantine. I thought this one would be interesting ð¤
Ladies and Gents! It did not disappoint but it sure did surprise!
Conviction, growth, lies exposed, grace, tips, tools and encouragement! This one had it all!

âGod created food for many reasons, but providing emotional comfort was never one of them.â

âTrying to mask our need for God with food is like trying to pound a nail in the wall with an orange; we'll only end up frustrated and hurt.â

âSatan wants us to eat Twinkies after a stressful day instead of praying.â

âWe need only to ask, and He will awaken in us a spiritual hunger like we've never experienced before.â

âI will never regret reaching out and filling up with God! - food cannot say that.â

âFood is a terrible master . . . but it can be a wonderful servant!â

âThis struggle in this season is a gift.â
â[the thing] that threatens to defeat me could actually lead to a season of deeper transformation and sweeter communion with my Savior.â

âThe Goal is Progress - not perfection.â

I highly recommend! Full: Food, Jesus and the Battle for Satisfaction
