Some may find this tedious reading because of the plot which emphasizes cataloging books and fundraising details. There is not a lot of insight into the characters' motivations either, I think, and there seems to be too many weak red herrings as to who the killer is. I am not sure why early on people suspect just who the evil person is since there does not seem to be enough evidence for their choice. However, I have done cataloging and grant writing and appreciate the fine details of working in a library/collections building by the author. I like the protagonist but wish there was more detail about her life outside the job, or maybe the job is all she is. I am going to read more in this series.

I enjoyed this and will read more in the series. Nell Pratt is a professional fundraiser who works for a major museum in Philadelphia. Things begin disappearing, before they are a chance to be logged into the system. When an accidental death occurs, just after this is brought to her attention by the victim, she begins to wonder. With the help of one of the trustees, who just happens to be related to half of the state of Pennsylvania, she unearths murder, theft, and a lot more than she bargained for.
Good book I think the setting was done very well.
Loved it. Likable heroine.
