After 28 books it's the same old. stuff Stephanie can't decide between Joe and Ranger and add Diesel to the mix (who hasn't been seen in 2 years) and she spends time with all three. Although she does hold Ranger at bay. Lula has zany incidents and Grandma is actually tame in this book. Typical Stephanie getting her car blown up (how many times is this going to happen? and funeral parlor showings. OK plot about cyber hackers, a mooner, and two characters for a sort of side story romance. It's past shelf life and stale
Game on is the twenty-eighth book in the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. It is, however, the first I have read. The series has long been on my list to try, and this book does not disappoint. I was apprehensive about not starting with book 1, but I was able to enjoy this one regardless. It feels like it is likely a reliable series when you are in the mood for a pick-me-up adventure.
