Very surprised how much I have loved this drama! House of Sand & Fog author, Andre Dubus, is a master storyteller. Had to sit in my car because I couldn't wait to hear what happened next. Being a single mom I could relate to April taking her daughter to work with her - but a strip club?! and it was interesting to listen to the others character's side of the story. The abusive husband that loses rights just to see his child even though his fatherly qualities were awesome, the lonely widow lady that cares for the stripper's little girl almost stalker like. Got to learn the inside of a strip joint - something I never want to do. Lots of exoticness!
