Garden Letters
Author: Elspeth Bradbury, Judy Maddocks
When Elspeth Bradbury moved from rural New Brunswick to West Vancouver she initiated a lively correspondence with her friend and former neighbor, Judy Maddocks. This charming collection of letters reveals as much about the seasons in a woman's life as it does the growing cycles of a garden.

A book consisting of letters back and forth between two good friends. When Elspeth moves from New Brunswick to British Columbia, she leaves behind her dear friend, Judy. They correspond regularly maintaining their close friendship. The letters are full of gardening talk as well as the happenings in their lives. They are charming and endearing to read, full of warmth, laughter and love. I particularly enjoyed mentions of specific plants as I live in the same zone as Elspeth. Highly recommended for those who like gardening and memoirs.
