From the book back: "A groundbreaking book that should help finally establish women writers as a credible faction within the hard-boild genre...Its emotional rawness and visceral honesty pack a punch more potent than any boxer-turned-PI could provide." Washington Post
Very disturbing murder mystery with a lot of real life grit. Also has a very heavy depiction of the aftermath of sexual abuse - a great, but chilling, read.
