I don't know who writes the book descriptions because the one here on PBS is not very accurate. No matter; if you've got this far in the series you already know what's going on. This is number 8,and getting easier to follow - although anyone trying to start here will be hopelessly confused. But the action is more straightforward, the slips in time and the landscape are better conveyed. I loved the cows. I like how Jame is choosing to show leadership, she isn't quite so determined to go it alone. Most of the characters put in at least a token appearance. FINALLY I think Tori's battle with his father's "ghost" is over, that went on way too long IMO. And it seems like the 3 Knorth are finally going to work together. Waiting for the next book, hope it won't be too long in coming.
