A really good adventure with plenty of historical facts to keep you not only entertained, but also more in touch with the realities of their customs and the hardships of their lives.
I read the entire series of the Genghis books that Iggulden wrote and each one is a treasure! He seems to have captured the historical facts and fleshed out the characters in a way that is fascinating, informative and interesting.
This was as exciting and fun as the first book. I highly recommend both books.
