The 7th book in the series and it's still going strong. Miss Lakin's years as a TV writer pay off - she keeps the story moving at a fast pace - new characters, different storylines. The mystery was easy to figure out but that doesn't affect the enjoyment of the story. I'm looking forward to the next one.

Great, great book! I love this series, and this is another one that kept me hooked and laughing.
This was a comical, rewarding, wonderful read --- the Gladys Gold, her husband and sister's detective team go to work on all sorts of little mysteries throughout the stories ---- the other little old ladies of her agency decide that since both the others had gotten married, they'd take classes and become their own detective agency! There was a serious murder with a totally surprising answer and I read it in a day, didn't want to put it down do hope the series continues!
