I'm not much for magic, but this is light and fun. I love the cats, domestic and feral and look forward to see what Leighann is going to do with them in the future. Should be interesting. Fun read and if you like cats you will enjoy.

I liked this book. It is about ghosts, and cats, and their owners and the unique relationship there. When the elderly town Librarian is found dead at the bottom of the stairs, and found by the main Character, the investigation begins.

This is set in Mystic Notch, New Hampshire, and really needed more NH flavor, this book could have been set anywhere the real lack of local flavor. Our MC owns an used bookstore. Her best friend owns a tea shop and does some fun and stupid things where her tea concoctions.

The Main character's sister is the local law enforcement, and then of course a law officer from another town is brought in to help investigate the murder, and in most cozies romance between the female slueth and the mail Law officer begins to heat up.

This book had magic, and cats, and mystery. It was a fun read. I want to read more by this author.

Middle aged bookstore owner Willa Chance is trying to get past a near fatal accident and is experiencing a most unusual side effect - she sees ghosts. After a messy divorce she returns to her hometown as the bookstore owner. She stumbles upon the librarian - dead, and has a host of townsfolk, and furry companions, to help her investigate the murder. Fun read - will good or evil prevail??

I enjoyed this book a lot. Not sure how the magic is going to play out in future books, but it was not overdone in this book which I liked. I was kept guessing as to "whodunnit" til the end.
