I liked this installment, but for some reason my usually fave character,Gilley, was so annoying in this book. The way he kept repeating his name slurred " Gilley Gileshpie" over and over I started to think he had been hypnotized or something. Like brain damage maybe he really did have a stroke and wasn't just being dramatic. It distracted from the story. However, it was still enjoyable, just not as good as the other books in the series IMO.

Very good, as always. I will say that the demon attacks in this one were pretty scary in the way they were described, which means really well written! I liked the premise and the setting of the Indian reservation too.
I will agree with one other reviewer in saying that Gilley's foolish antics were annoying as hell in this book!

This installment was really good. MJ and Heath are face death and danger.Gilley was there, too. Mj's ex-Steven is briefly mentioned. Can't wait for the nest story.
I ususally enjoy the books in this sereis. For some reason, I REALLY enjoyed this one. I like that MJ and Heath's relationship is getting stronger. I love Gilley and certainly did not disappoint in this book. The interweaving of family dynamics, tribal law and tribal history was excellent. The scenes with Doc crack me up. I have missed him in the last couple of books. Laugh out loud funny, tense and action packed. 4 stars
M.J. Holliday and her crew interrupt the frantic schedule of their reality TV show, Ghoul Getters, and hotfoot it to New Mexico, where a dreadful demon is waging tribal warfare. Sam Whitefeather -- M.J.'s spirit guide -- urgently needs her help to stop this evil spirit from wiping out the descendants of his tribe. It doesn't take a psychic to predict that M.J.'s going to have a devil of a time making New Mexico a demon-free zone.
