Short, but sweet. A mother takes the advice of her young son's counselor and answers an ad for a companion for a lonely horse. There are more lonely hearts than just the horse's.

In the beautiful Tehachapi Mountains a lonely horse longs for his companion, a boy longs for his father, and two adults long to known love again. A short easy read.
