Zebra's latest holiday anthology is a sexy, eclectic quartet of Christmas novellas that includes both contemporary and historical settings?Irish castles, Nob Hill mansions, lakeside cabins, and country houses?both macho and wounded heroes, a varied assortment of heroines, several wonderful secondary characters like a lifesaving dog, and a couple of plots that make good use of snowstorms. As with many collections, the style, quality, and length of the stories and their relevance to Christmas differ greatly. They are written by well-known authors with their own followings, e.g., Virginia Henley (in her first contemporary novella), Brenda Joyce, Fern Michaels, and Jo Goodman.

This is really a wonderful book to fall into this season with. It has four stories, all by wonderful authors and each story is different, but all full of love and the holiday spirit. Perfect book for winter. Fast read--I loved it. Oh gee-- this was so good really--I'd read it in the summer too!!
