Beginning in 1900 with the birth of Kitty Deverill to a mother who loathes her, Kitty is primarily raised by her loving grandparents. Her best friend, daughter of their cook, embark on totally different paths in life which collide several decades later. An epic romance with rich characters and plot. First in the trilogy.
