This book was a wonderful light read. Elizabeth Young is (in my opinion) one of the best chick-lit writers around. This is a fast paced and fun read full of laughter, a few times where I thought about crying (it takes a lot for me) and some great drama.

This might be fun if you can keep up with a minimum of two names each for the eleven characters for the murder weekend, plus a few characters that aren't there. I couldn't. I made it about a third of the way through the book and gave up. In addition, the dialogue is heavily sprinkled with British slang, so good luck knowing what anyone is saying. An example:
"Tosser," he said. "Sorry I'm not there to duff him up."
"Tosser," he said. "Sorry I'm not there to duff him up."

Oh, I just loved this fun chick lit novel! At first, it was a little "too English", but as soon as it got going, I started to really like it. It had some hilarious parts - like the way the main couple first met as children and it even had parts where I cried (partly because I was home alone with Buns and it involved a missing dog). All in all, it was great fun and a fast and enjoyable read. I will definitely add her to my list of authors to look out for!
