My issue is that I was looking for a romance like some of the Fool's Gold series that are on my keeper shelf. This book is a great choice if you are looking for a story about friendship between women in different life stages. It is not a good choice if you are looking for a romance! I want my pleasure reading to be an escape from reality, but this is exploring and celebrating that reality right down to specific crock pot meals and juggling work and family responsibilities. I already have this is my real life, so I don't want to read about it in my small amount of free time.

The story of a wonderful friendship between three women.Pam with the perfect marriage, and then tragedy strikes. Nicole with the failing marriage, and Shannon, so tied up with her job that she loves, wondering if marriage will ever be in her future. The three are such a support network for each other. My kind of story!
