First off, the author herself narrates, which is a huge mistake. Her voice is quite annoying. Next, the story really doesn't have much of a plot. You basically hear about her life which focuses on her multiple boyfriends (and the sex they had) and what she smokes. A chapter or two here & there might have been ok, but 6 cd's worth? Oh how I disliked this book. I would not recommend it and definitely will never read anything by this author again. If I met her in person, I would tell her how awful of a writer she is.
A story about the gentile traditions southern women that endure through decades of a womans search for true love. She finally finds contentment with life through the joy of raising her daughter.
