Thanks for the invitation to review a book I wrote in 1991. It is an introduction to the play, and in my opinion, it does a good job of accounting for characters and interpretations of their interaction. It is not high level criticism, but it does a good job of being the kind of book that the series editor wanted. It is part of the world masterpieces of Twain. The purpose of the series is to introduce readers to classics in western literature.
