For fans of the classic TV show "Columbo" starring Peter Falk, this book is just what you'd expect and will not disappoint. The murder is committed and the murderer revealed early-on, and from then on it is cat-and-mouse watching (er, reading) as Columbo circles in and the murderer tries in vain to outsmart him. The wrinkled raincoat, the chewed cigar and the apologies ("..and, uh--I guess I do have one more little question...") are all here, amusingly. The dialogue is fast with nothing in excess to bog the story down. Recommended fun!
